These sessions are about you and your healing journey. You come 1st. I want to help you help yourself heal and give you hope. You are the focus during our sessions. I won't be working on you on a table while I am telling 3 other clients to exercise in the same room as happens in many Physical therapy centers. You will never be abandoned to a machine or an exercise unless I am right there beside you doing the same thing.
If I can't help you I will find someone else who can and refer you there. It may be to John Barnes in Sedona or James Waslaski in Texas, or right in your own neighborhood. There are a lot of great therapists out there, you just need to know where to look. If you are not feeling changes and improvement within several weeks, fire your therapist and find another. Question everything, it is your body and you have to live in it.
To do this, I take the time to get you're medical history and to listen to your story. It helps if you take the time and journal and write everything that has happened. Sometimes you find your own answers during this exploration. As an example, you may recall falling out of a tree as a kid and realize that a shoulder that is frozen now from Master gardening may have started much earlier. Everything that has happened to you in your lifetime is buried in the tissues of your body, and you are living with it today. We will work together as a team and help you have a new understanding of how your body works. Education is one of the keys to assist your healing process. Prayer is also combined with this process and the healing energy of Reiki is always included with every session unless the client declines.
During 2009, within 3 weeks, I was in my first total truck wreck, got hit by a jellow jackets nest, then was run over by a tractor. I am alive to talk about it, but I spent over 3 months in a wheel chair. I understand your pain, because I have lived it. If I can heal, so can you, but sometimes it is a slow process.
